Deploy, Secure, Optimise and Manage Oracle Fusion Middleware Applications
This Oracle Press book is split into two main sections. The first of these is entitled Oracle Fusion Middleware Architecture and Management. This section begins with a Fusion Middleware primer which includes information on development frameworks, application grid, content management, data integration and business intelligence. The book then contains a chapter on the Oracle Weblogic Server.
There are then five more chapters in this first section on the Fusion Middleware Infrastructure, Oracle Fusion Middleware platform security services and identity management, the Oracle Service-Orientated Architecture suite, the Oracle Application Development framework and finally the Oracle WebCenter.
The second part of the book is entitled Deploying and Managing Enterprise Applications on Fusion Middleware. This section includes five chapters on deploying fusion middleware enterprise applications, securing enterprise applications, optimizing the fusion middleware applications, monitoring and diagnosing fusion middleware enterprise applications and finally virtualizing fusion middleware enterprise applications.
This is a thorough book on Oracle Fusion Middleware, and one that you will find yourself coming back to for reference as well as reading it cover to cover, as it includes everything you need to think about when releasing Oracle Fusion Middleware such as deploying it, securing it, optimizing it and how to monitor and improve it.
The book contains over 520 pages, and as usual with Oracle Press books it is well laid out with a good number of diagrams and screenshots to help you out.
If you want to know how to understand the key concepts of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g, create and deploy Oracle WebLogic Server domains and clusters, set up and manage applications built using Oracle ADF as well as manage portals and secure deployments then this is a great book.
