There are a number of Oracle script examples, a lot are from other DBAs who all get mentions in the book, all of which are on the accompanying book website. One of the scripts is a good perl script to access the Oracle Error Codes using Windows, a similar functionality called oerr, which is a way to access Oracle error codes and descriptions on Unix and Linux is not available on Windows, but this script gets around this.
